This Privacy Policy describes how hatk website (“hatk website”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our TikTok content posting application.

hatk website is available at https://hatk.website. The website at hatk.website is the official web interface for the hatk website app. Through hatk website, you can connect your TikTok account and upload or publish videos to TikTok using TikTok’s official Content Posting API.

📦 Information We Collect

Account Information (via TikTok OAuth): TikTok user ID (open_id), display name, avatar URL, username, bio, profile link, verification status, and account statistics when you authorize hatk website.
Content Data: Video files, captions/titles, and privacy settings you submit through hatk website for posting to TikTok.
OAuth Tokens: Access tokens (and refresh tokens when provided) stored locally in your browser so hatk website can call TikTok APIs on your behalf until you log out or revoke access.
Usage Data: Basic log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps when you use hatk.website.

🔑 TikTok API Scopes & How We Use Your Data

When you log in to hatk website, you authorize TikTok OAuth scopes. We only use data from each scope for the purposes below. We do not sell this data.

`user.info.basic`	Display name, avatar URL, open_id	Shown on the hatk website dashboard so you can confirm the correct TikTok account is connected before posting.
`user.info.profile`	Bio, username, profile deep link, verification status	Displayed in the profile section on the dashboard so you can verify account identity; not used for advertising or shared with third parties.
`user.info.stats`	Follower count, following count, likes count, video count	Retrieved after login to help you verify the connected account on the dashboard; not used for marketing or profiling.
`video.upload`	Permission to upload video to your TikTok inbox/drafts	Used when you choose “Upload to Inbox” — hatk website sends your selected video and caption to TikTok as a draft (MEDIA_UPLOAD mode).
`video.publish`	Permission to publish video directly to your profile	Used when you choose “Direct Publish” — hatk website posts your selected video to your TikTok profile with your chosen title and privacy setting (DIRECT_POST mode).

To display your connected account information on the dashboard
To improve and maintain hatk website and hatk.website

🎵 TikTok Integration

hatk website uses TikTok’s official Content Posting API and Login Kit. By connecting your TikTok account to hatk website, you authorize us to access the scopes listed above and to post videos according to your actions in the app. You may revoke access at any time via TikTok’s connected apps settings or by logging out of hatk website.

🤝 Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data only with:

TikTok (as required to operate the API integration for hatk website)
Cloudflare (hosting and API proxy for hatk.website)
Authorities if required by law

🗂️ Data Retention

OAuth tokens and profile data are stored in your browser’s local storage while you remain logged in. When you log out of hatk website, we clear stored tokens and profile data from your browser. We do not maintain a separate user database on our servers.

🛡️ Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. TikTok client secrets are stored only on our server-side proxy, never in the browser. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may log out of hatk website, revoke TikTok access, or contact us at wong.ha.tung@gmail.com.

👶 Children's Privacy

hatk website is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

🔄 Changes to This Policy
